A significant challenge faced during the studio’s design was managing sound bleed. The solution included sound-isolated flooring and an aluminum grid ceiling lined with sound insulation foam. Double-layered windows and cavity walls provide a robust 4-inch barrier against external noise, while raised floorboards filled with sandbags and specially insulated flooring enhance soundproofing. Internally, a complex layering of cavity walls, glass wool framing, perforated ply, and fabric quilting creates a nine-layer symphony, safeguarding the recording room’s acoustics.

 Innovative Zoning

Steering away from corporate formalities, the studio features an informal layout highlighted by a sleek black aluminum grid ceiling and oakwood-colored flooring. Discreet cable trays and gutters minimize visible wiring chaos during jam sessions. Soft, diffused lighting enhances the ambiance, making it a dynamic backdrop for live performances, broadcasts, and recordings. The pantry, tucked away behind full-length blinds, maintains a clean aesthetic, while strategically placed wooden blinds in the meeting room absorb stray noise, blending functionality with design.

A bifold sliding aluminum door separates the meeting room, allowing for privacy when needed, and creating an open space for spontaneous performances. Delicate sheer curtains add intimacy, while the versatile seating and state-of-the-art recording equipment are thoughtfully integrated to enhance both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
