Coffeeville, the vibrant café nestled within Youthville, Pune

Most students and professionals passing by Youthville, off S B Road in Pune, find themselves irresistibly drawn to the cosy warmth and vibrant buzz emanating from Coffeeville. Situated at the city’s prime location, surrounded by a lively blend of educational institutions and offices, this trendy café lures both in-house hostellers and outsiders with the comforting scent of freshly brewed coffee.

Youthville, a first-of-its-kind serviced hostel in Pune at the time of its inception in 2018, is recognised as one of the best brands in hostel accommodations for today’s generation. They are specially designed to make living alone not just easy and comfortable but also exciting and enjoyable. Coffeeville was an essential addition crafted to cater to the dynamic lifestyles of the residents.

As you step inside, the bright colours of Youthville stand in happy contrast to the Scandinavian-inspired interiors of the café. The calming palette of subtle green accents, rustic brick cladding, and warm Tangent wooden finishes invite guests to relax and unwind. The ambience is enhanced by a unique ceiling—suspended lights encased in mesh-metal frames creped with greenery and hung with raw-finish ropes, adding a subtle industrial touch that complements the rustic interior. An abstract wooden fin wall with integrated planters is the artistic yet functional centrepiece of the space, the burst of greenery invoking a sense of calm and freshness.

Pune’s mild climate inspired the design to embrace the natural breeze. Minimising the use of glass, green wooden planters on stilted metal holders were designed on-site to segregate the indoor and outdoor spaces while maintaining an open environment.

Understanding the need for varied social interactions, the seating arrangement at Coffeeville is thoughtfully varied to accommodate every type of gathering. From single seats perfect for a quiet afternoon with a book, to twin-share, quad-share, and group tables, the cafe is designed to host a spectrum of emotions. This flexibility makes it an ideal spot for solos, friends, and family. Complementing this are the grey abstract tiled floors that delineate active spaces within the cafe. The strategically placed kitchen and service counter ensure smooth and efficient movement, making service swift and seamless. This thoughtful planning guarantees that whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or settling down for a meal, your experience is both comfortable and efficient.

A designated waiting area near the reception with contrasting colourful furniture and the Youthville logo against a lush vertical green wall creates a backdrop that’s both Instagram-worthy and energising.

Coffeeville’s environment, crafted through a blend of materials, strategic layout, and earthy colours, comforts all those who step inside. This intentional design transforms everyday visits into rejuvenating experiences, ensuring that whether it’s for a quick coffee, a leisurely meal, or a fun jamming session, every moment at Coffeeville is a memorable escape from the mundane routines of daily life.
